The Three Little Pigs/ Illustration Friday: Temptation

Here is a new illustration I've been working on for the story of The Three Little Pigs. I also think it ties in nicely with this week's Illustration Friday word- 'temptation'.

Illustration Friday: Red

Jake and Buddy love playing fetch with their red ball!

Pirates! IF: Exotic

Another piece from a while ago that never made it to my blog; this time illustrating the word 'exotic' for Illustration Friday.

Illustration Friday: Tail

I've been neglecting Illustration Friday for quite a while now so I'm going to try and get back into it. This week I've chosen this illustration from a while back as it hasn't made it to my blog yet and I think it ties in quite nicely to the theme 'tail'.

Website update

I've given my website a wee update, so if you'd like to see some of my more recent work, you can have a look here: www.kathleenmeaney.com :)

Jake and Buddy/ Illustration Friday: Train

These are some new characters I've been working on, called Jake and Buddy. This illustration also happens to fit in with this week's Illustration Friday word 'train' as Jake is trying to train his dog Buddy to sit!

Hannah/ IF: wool

These are some sketches of a new character I've been working on. Her name is Hannah and her wooly jumper means she ties in nicely to this week's Illustration Friday word 'wool'.

Under the sea

IF: Wings

I decided to avoid drawing any birds for this week's Illustration Friday word 'wings' and opted to work a bit more on my dragon character from last week instead. Her name is Violet and her wings have taken her high up into the clouds :)

IF: Myth

I drew this dragon character for this week's Illustration Friday word 'myth'. She still needs a name!

Happy Halloween!

Ellie and her cat Pumpkin got a surprise when they went trick or treating!
